The Teaching Method
Study materials will be provided in English. However, teaching, explanations, and class discussions will be conducted in the Burmese (Myanmar) language.

This course is open to applicants who meet the following requirements: ဤသင်တန်းကို လျှောက်ထားသူများသည် BA, BSc, BCom, BTh သို့မဟုတ် အသိအမှတ်ပြုထားသော အခြား Bachelor ဘွဲ့တစ်ခုခု ကို ရရှိထားရပါမည်။

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s degree such as BA, BSc, BCom, BTh, or any other recognized bachelor-level qualification. This program is suitable for:

Ministers / Pastors : အသင်းတော်ဓမ္မအမူတော်ဆောင်ဆရာ၊ ဆရာမများ

Elders or Deacons : အသင်းတော် သင်းထောက်များ (Elders) သို့မဟုတ် ဒီကွန်များ (Deacons)

The Master of Leadership in Christian Ministry program is fully accredited and recognized through respected educational partners, including Faith Leads University, Central Christian University (Malawi), Advantage University, and The City Harvest Leadership Institute. These partnerships ensure strong academic quality, recognized credentials, and global credibility for students preparing for effective ministry leadership.

Faith Leads University

Faith Leads University is accredited by the Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges, and Universities (ASIC) in the United Kingdom. ASIC is a member of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). For students who require accreditation recognized by the U.S. Department of Education (USDOE), the university also offers an optional pathway through its partnership with the University of San Diego.

Central Christian University, Malawi

Central Christian University is accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) in Malawi. It also holds international recognition from the International Association for Quality Assurance in Pre-Tertiary and Higher Education (QAHE, USA), the Mercosul Accreditation Agency (Brazil), and the National Theological Association (NTA, India).

Advantage University

Advantage University partners with respected institutions under the IPHC Higher Education Department, including Emmanuel University, Holmes Bible College, and Southwestern Christian University. Students may transfer credits among these affiliated schools.

Upon completing all program requirements, students are eligible to receive two accredited Master’s degrees, further enhancing their academic and ministry qualifications.

The City Harvest Leadership Institute is a ministry-based leadership institution operating under Agape Mission Church of Grand Rapids and is officially registered as a legal corporation with the government.

MLCM 501 — New Testament Introduction & Leadership Method (3 Credits)

A comprehensive overview of the New Testament’s history, themes, authorship, and theology, with an emphasis on how the life and teachings of Jesus and the Apostles shape Christian leadership today. 

MLCM 502 — Old Testament Introduction & Leadership Method (3 Credits)

A foundational study of the Old Testament’s structure, major covenants, key figures, and theology. Special focus is placed on God’s leadership principles revealed throughout the Old Testament narrative. 

MLCM 503 — Exegesis for Leadership (3 Credits)

Training in biblical interpretation methods to help ministry leaders read Scripture accurately and apply it effectively in teaching, counseling, preaching, and decision-making. 

MLCM 504 — Biblical Ethics for Leadership (3 Credits)

Explores ethical principles rooted in Scripture. Students learn how to make godly decisions, lead with integrity, and navigate the moral and ethical challenges facing today’s church and ministry leaders.

MLCM 505 — Organizational Leadership (3 Credits)

Introduces leadership theories and models for church and ministry contexts. Students learn to lead teams, manage ministry systems, resolve conflict, and build healthy organizational cultures. 

MLCM 506 — Christian Leadership Development (3 Credits)

Focuses on spiritual formation, Christian character development, and mentoring. Students learn to develop emerging leaders and equip believers for effective ministry.

MLCM 507 — Strategic Leadership & Change (3 Credits)

Equips leaders to create vision, plan strategic ministry initiatives, and lead organizational change. Emphasizes mission alignment, long-term direction, and sustainable ministry growth. 

MLCM 508 — Contemporary Leadership Issues (3 Credits)

Examines modern challenges faced by Christian leaders, including technology, cultural shifts, generational dynamics, global crises, and moral dilemmas. Provides biblical and practical leadership responses. 

MLCM 509 — Organizational Research & Analysis (3 Credits)

Teaches students how to assess ministry needs, evaluate church structures, gather data, and use research tools for informed decision-making and ministry improvement.

MLCM 510 — Global Leadership (3 Credits)

Focuses on cross-cultural ministry, global missions, international leadership competencies, and understanding the worldwide body of Christ. Emphasizes global Christian engagement and missional leadership.

MLCM 511 — Christian Leadership in Education (3 Credits)

Prepares leaders for Christian education ministries. Covers teaching methods, curriculum development, discipleship models, and leadership principles for Christian schools and educational programs.

MLCM 512 — Christian Worship Leadership & Musical Expression (3 Credits)

Explores the theology of worship, worship leadership skills, and the role of music in ministry. Students learn to lead worship teams, plan services, and cultivate Spirit-led, Christ-centered worship environments.
